Creomar de Souza provides clients seeking to work in Brazil with public policy, political risk, and strategic advice and counsel and is able to help clients understand, define, advocate for and shape Brazilian government action.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of IRELGOV (a leading Brazilian governmental relations think tank) and of the Consultative Committee of ENRICH in Brazil (a European Union innovation initiative in cooperation with Brazilian institutions).
The U.S. Department of State has identified Mr. de Souza as a Brazilian expert and leader on issues of public policy and twice sent him to the United States: first as a visiting researcher at the University of Florida in 2010 and, in 2016, as an international observer to monitor the U.S. election.
He holds a Masters in International Relations from the University of Brasília and is a doctoral candidate in comparative politics by the same institution. Mr. de Souza is also a Visiting Professor of XXI Century Scenarios Analysis at the Dom Cabral Foundation. In 2018, Mr. de Souza founded his own political risk firm, Dharma Politics – based in Brasilia, Brazil
