Mr. Ginzberg is an experienced executive and manager with more than 19 years of experience in the financial services, asset management, energy and infrastructure industries. He most recently held the position of Managing Director at Arroyo Energy Investors, an Americas-focused private equity asset manager where he led the acquisition, management and divestiture of Latin American investment as well as energy transition-related investments throughout the Americas. Mr. Ginzberg was involved at the outset of the fund life, assisting in the spin-out and fundraising efforts as the business exited from a bulge-bracket investment bank trading desk. He has practical executory experience as a business principal developing, acquiring, investing-in, operating, and divesting over $1.5bn in electric power and natural gas-related energy assets to both private and public pools of capital. Mr. Ginzberg has been involved in development and acquisition activities in the LNG and LNG-to-Power space, as an investor, in the Americas and more specifically across the Southern Cone of Latin America. Mr. Ginzberg has experience with most of the capital sources financing energy infrastructure assets both from a debt and equity perspective.
Prior to Arroyo, Mr. Ginzberg was a Vice President in the commodities sales and trading at J.P. Morgan investment bank. He was responsible for business development and investment opportunity analysis across commodity and infrastructure assets globally. Mr. Ginzberg led and participated in numerous investment efforts including the 2009 take-private transaction of Ecosecurities Plc., an AIM-listed carbon credit aggregation platform. Prior to his experience in the commodity business Mr. Ginzberg held several positions in the fixed income sales and trading business at J.P. Morgan including the securitization business focused on credit cards, student loans and global residential mortgage securities.
Mr. Ginzberg lives in Boulder Colorado with his wife and three children and is an avid outdoors person, cyclist, and winter sports enthusiast. Mr. Ginzberg has a BSc. In Finance from University of Delaware.
