Dr. Mohamed Reda is Senior Advisor for communications and information technology (CIT) industries. He has developed, implemented, and guided strategic projects and global partnerships across more than three decades in the United States, Europe, Africa, and Middle East.
Before joining TSG, Dr. Reda, one of cybersecurity’s most respected and recognized international leaders, was named president of technology development and international operations at Nehemiah Security, a leading supplier of cybersecurity solutions and services to enterprise and government clients worldwide. In this position, Dr. Reda was responsible for managing technology solution development, R&D, and product acquisition. He founded and served as Chairman & CEO of Allied Group, Switzerland; Allied Consultants in Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia; and Allied Soft in the United States.
Dr. Reda’s international businesses affiliations are extensive. He is a member of the European Union IT Observatory Group, the UK National Outsourcing Association, a board member of the DC Export Council and several business councils in the Washington, D.C. area. He is a former chair of the IT Export Community in Egypt and the IT Committee in the Egyptian Businessmen Association. He led the IT development strategy for Egypt and participated as senior consultant with PA Consulting Group in building the Malaysian technology corridor.
Dr. Reda was chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) International Committee and continues to be active. NVTC fosters relationships with international businesses by providing intelligence, programs, access, and counsel to NVTC members and works with international partners. The committee helps technology businesses successfully tap the thriving international technology marketplace.
He has earned recognitions and awards from several universities and international organizations, including Umm University, Sweden; BPO board, Texas, USA; Middle East IT association, and in the UK and elsewhere.
Dr. Reda has a doctorate in Computer Science and Applied Artificial Intelligence Modeling from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University.
